Access to the M1 programme

French or foreign students holding a Bachelor (Bac+3 - 180 ECTS) or equivalent in social sciences, sociology, political science, history, economics, management, from Paris-Dauphine, another university, IEP diploma, diploma from a grande ecole or recognised equivalent institutions.

 

Access to the M2 programme

  • Closing date for applications: 28th March 2016

 

French or foreign students with 60 ECTS, M1 International Affairs and Development or another M1 (+4), sociology, law, economics, management, political and philosophical[?] sciences, mathematics, computing, psychology, literature; from Paris-Dauphine, another university, as a IEP diploma, from a grande ecole or a recognised equivalent institution.

Recruited candidates come from a diverse set of backgrounds. Foreign students are welcome.

The application should contain a CV, letter of motivation and any research projects.
Successful applicants must first pass an oral interview (students continuing from the M1 programme may be exempt from this). Criteria: quality and adequacy of previous studies, motivation for study, international openness and ability with foreign languages.

Formation continue / VAE

The Peace Studies programme privileges "formation initiale"

However, the course is also open to "formation continuation". If you are have been working, looking for work, or have interrupted your initial studies for any reason for over a year, you qualify as a "formation continuation" student.

The programme is open to "la Validation des Acquis d'Experience" (validation of experience outside formal training). For more information: http://www.formation-continue.dauphine.fr/vae.html

Validation of prior learning is suitable for those who do not have the required academic level and those seeking any or all of the constituent modules of the degree. For a VAE procedure to be put in place, it is required that the candidate has at least three years of professional experience in the relevant field.
